Postdoctoral Scholars

Ph.D. graduates

For Ph.D. graduates with a strong interest in pursuing academic careers. Postdoctoral scholars will build on their doctoral training to establish new, independent research directions aligned with the lab’s broader vision, and will be expected to lead one or more major projects.

Graduate Students

B.S. / M.S. graduates

2–3 openings

For B.S. graduates applying through the M.S. via exemption or direct Ph.D. track, as well as M.S. graduates applying through the regular Ph.D. track, who seek advanced training and the opportunity to make significant research contributions. Graduate students will be expected to take ownership of independent projects within the lab’s research areas.

Visiting Students and Scholars

B.S. students to faculty members

Rolling (limited)

For self-funded visiting or co-advised trainees and scholars interested in short-term research stays, collaborative projects, or methodological exchange aligned with the lab’s current research directions.

Research Assistants

M.S. graduates

For recent M.S. graduates seeking to further expand their research experience before continuing their education or advancing their careers. Research assistants will receive initial training and will be expected to work independently thereafter.

Technicians

Associate degree / B.S. / M.S. students and graduates

For associate degree, B.S., or M.S. graduates seeking stable research positions and the opportunity to contribute to a specific area of the lab’s work. We also welcome current associate degree and B.S. students seeking a final-year internship beginning in the summer before their final year, especially those who wish to develop practical skills for future employment in our research areas.

Undergraduate Researchers

B.S. students

Rolling (limited)

For undergraduate students seeking research experience through semester-based, summer, or project-based involvement aligned with the lab’s current directions. Undergraduate researchers will receive comprehensive training in cell engineering and contribute to larger ongoing projects.
